Light: Anthurium prefers bright locations with indirect light, but if placed in areas with lower light intensity, it will produce fewer flowers and grow slower. It cannot tolerate direct sunlight as it may cause damage to the leaves.
Water: Water Anthurium regularly but avoid overwatering. Water when the top few inches of soil dry out. It is very sensitive to root rot, so excessive moisture can harm the roots. Reduce watering frequency and amount in winter.
Temperature: The ideal temperature range is 20-30°C. It can tolerate lower temperatures, but never let it drop below 10°C.
Humidity: Prefers increased humidity levels in the growing environment. Enjoys occasional misting on the foliage, or you can place it on a tray with pebbles and water.
Fertilization: Apply fertilizer suitable for green plants once a month during the growing season.
Potting/Repotting: Repot every 2-4 years, depending on its growth, using a mixture of soil suitable for cacti and succulents or perlite/pine bark in a 1:1 ratio.
Height and Growth Rate: It can reach up to 60 cm in height. Considered a plant with moderate to slow growth, but with the right conditions, its growth can accelerate.
Toxicity: These plants are harmful if ingested. Keep them away from children and pets.
Origin: Tropical regions of South and Central America.
